⚠️ YELLOW THUNDERSTORM WARNING ⚠️‬
‪Thunderstorms expected today
‪⌛️ Valid now to 10pm
Update to include more of east Anglia as the storms continue to develop this morning
⛈️ Band of thunderstorms will slowly move northwards on Thursday
👀 Not all will see the heaviest downpours
⛈️ Some torrential downpours in a short space of time
⛈️ 20-30mm in less than 2-3 hour, possibly more than 75mm in 12 hrs (over a months worth for some places)
⛈️ Frequent lightning too‬ and large hail likely too
☔️ ‪Localised flooding will be possible. Especially where the ground is very dry. The water here will run off like concrete causing further issues

Gloucester & Cheltenham are going to wake up to a very large thunderstorm tomorrow morning ⛈️ Be careful on the roads, flooding is very likely tomorrow AM.

No thunderstorms yet in Stroud. A huge storm to the north of us currently. Tomorrow morning is due to bring a large amount of thunder and rain to the county though. Not great for paragliding, but we need need the rain ☔🌧️⛈️

Hello everyone! Just to let you all know we do fly sometimes in the colder months. But we don't take bookings through the website. From October through to March we operate only some special days where we are available and we think the weather will be safe to fly. Those dates are advertised on our WhatsApp group. This is done on a first come first serve basis.
