Fitness isn’t about perfect plans, picture- perfect photos, or flawless days. It’s about showing up in the middle of real life - the busy days, the messy days, the “this wasn’t the plan” days, and choosing to move anyway. We know we feel better for it! Routines help, but the unpolished moments are often the best and the progress made in the chaos still counts.
I recently completed a KELTX event; my training preparations were far from perfect, life happened and suddenly the event was upon me. But, digging deep, trusting my body and my ability, with a few curses under my breath meant I crossed the finish line. It wasn’t about time, wasn’t about looking my best, it was about spending quality time with my incredible mum who completed it alongside me and proving to myself that I can do hard things.
