🇮🇹A recent trip to Rome got me thinking...
Like many women, I don’t always have access to my usual routine when I’m away.
But what struck me was this:
The healthiest approach isn’t the one that only works when life is perfectly organised.
It’s the one that can adapt.

Some days that might look like a full strength session.
Other days it might be a walk exploring a new city.
Some weeks you’ll have more time and energy.
Others, less.
And that’s okay.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s finding a way to support your wellbeing that works in the context of real life.

That idea became a huge inspiration behind my Summer Reset Challenge.
A challenge designed to flex around your life, whether you’re at home, away on holiday, juggling family commitments or simply enjoying everything summer has to offer.

Because wellbeing should travel with you, wherever summer takes you ☀️

Strength training isn’t just about what happens in the gym.💪

It’s about supporting the things you do every day.

Exercises like the Romanian Deadlift help build strength through your glutes, hamstrings and core, all of which play an important role in how you move through life.

Whether that’s carrying shopping, lifting children or grandchildren, gardening, travelling or simply feeling more confident in your body.

Strength training also becomes increasingly important as we age, helping to support muscle mass, bone health, balance and independence.

It’s one of the reasons strength work is such an important part of what I teach.

Because movement isn’t just about today. It’s about supporting your future self too.

Have you tried Romanian Deadlifts before? 🤍

Your body is listening.

Every strength session sends a signal.

Every walk sends a signal.

Every meal sends a signal.

Every moment of rest sends a signal.

The fascinating thing is that your body is constantly adapting to the messages it receives most often.

You don’t have to be perfect.

You don’t need a dramatic transformation.

You don’t need to overhaul your entire life by Monday.

You simply need to start sending your body more of the signals you want it to respond to.

More strength.

More nourishment.

More movement.

More recovery.

More self-care.

And over time, those small signals add up to remarkable change.

What signal are you sending your body today? 💛

A little permission slip for anyone who needs it this week 🤍

So many women feel like they need to be doing more, trying harder or starting again perfectly every Monday.

But sustainable wellbeing isn’t built through perfection.

It’s built through small choices that support your body consistently over time.

Which slip did you need to hear most today?

I stopped believing in harsh diets and intense “no pain, no gain” workouts years ago...

And everything changed.

I had more energy.

I felt stronger.

Movement became something I looked forward to, rather than something I felt I had to endure.

For years, women have been sold the idea that summer means restrictive diets, punishing workouts and trying to change themselves as quickly as possible.

But what if this summer looked different?

What if the goal wasn’t to shrink yourself...

But to support yourself?

To feel stronger.

More energised.

More confident in your body.

And more like yourself again.

That’s exactly why I created the Summer Reset Challenge.

A supportive 6-week experience designed to help you say goodbye to miserable summer diets and all-or-nothing routines, and hello to movement, habits and wellbeing that fit around real life.

For years we’ve been told that if we want results we need to exercise harder, eat less, push through fatigue and be more disciplined.
But what if that’s exactly what’s keeping you stuck?
As women move through their 40s and 50s, the body becomes far less tolerant of stress.
Poor sleep.
Busy lives.
Hormonal changes.
Constant rushing.
Under-eating.
Over-exercising.
All of these send signals to the nervous system that resources are scarce and recovery isn’t a priority.
That’s why I believe midlife women need a different approach.
One that combines strength training, Pilates, nervous system regulation and simple daily habits that help the body feel safe enough to respond.
More energy.
Better recovery.
Greater strength.
Improved confidence.
And often, a body that starts working with you rather than against you.
This is exactly why I created the Summer Reset.
A gentle but powerful 6-week programme designed to help you build strength, reduce overwhelm and create sustainable habits that actually fit real life.
No punishment.
No extremes.
No starting again every Monday.
Just small steps that add up to big changes. 💗

Tried Pilates, osteopaths, or physios — and still feel like something’s missing?

This is different.
My one-to-one sessions aren’t just Pilates. They’re a whole-body, fascia-aware, nervous-system-supportive approach for women who want real results — not just another list of exercises.

I work with women who:

Feel stiff, disconnected or frustrated with their body
Are done with one-size-fits-all workouts
Want to build strength and confidence, safely and intelligently
Have “done the work” but still don’t feel right
With over 20 years’ experience, I blend:

Expert Pilates
Breath, fascia and strength work
Movement that’s actually designed for your body
A pace that supports nervous system regulation and long-term change
If you’ve been told “this is as good as it gets” — it’s not.
This is the deep, personalised support you’ve been looking for.

Sessions available online or in Stroud.
Message me or comment “READY” and I’ll send the details.
