What a season it’s been for these guys. It’s not always been easy but I’m so proud of the fact they show up every week and keep going. Last week they contested their second cup final in two seasons and were on the end of an unlucky score line but they came straight back this week with a win to finish 4th in the league. Big thanks to Rigby Financial for sponsoring our new kit and to Christopher Duckworth and all at Bootle Bucks Inclusion FC CIC for making us so welcome. Also to all the parents who take time out of their weekend to ensure our kids get to play football.

Bit late but well done to the team this weekend. Amazing 3-1 win against a much improved Bootle Ducks team. Better than that it was a game played the right way. The result puts the team in their second cup final.

Really proud of the team today. Played well and got a good 2-0 win in the league. Came up against a super goalie from Bootle Lions who did everything to keep the game 0-0.

No man of the match for us this week as the team played well across the board. Proud coach time.

Not to be this week. Despite a late equaliser we exit the cup on penalties 1-0. Great game and the two teams get to do it again next weekend in the league. Good luck to the Lions for the rest of the cup.

Incredible man of the match display by Oscar today who remarkably saved 5 penalties including three in the shootout to progress in the Ste Jones challenge cup. Commiserations to Bootle Lionesses who were great opposition. The second close game with them this season.

Wasn’t to be this time but amazingly proud of our CUP FINALISTS! It’s amazing to see how far they’ve come in such a short space of time. Thanks for everyone’s support 🏅

Massive congratulations to the team. Worked hard for each other and kept battling to the end. A 2-0 cup semi final win against a good Bootle Buffalos team sees them get to their first final. No matter how that goes they’ve done themselves proud.

Man of the match was Oscar for wearing a LFC training top in goal! 🤣

What a gang these are. Made getting up early on a Saturday worthwhile!

Hope you all enjoyed playing as much as I did watching. The result was great but irrelevant. It’s playing footy with your mates and I’m glad we get to play a part in making that happen.

Our little Tuesday crew. Another season has ended and it’s been the best out of all of them so far. It’s impossible for me to put into words how proud I am of all your efforts this year. Sometimes turning up is enough. Being ready to go again, even when it’s hard or scary or new, takes amazing strength and determination and I hope you realise how amazing that makes you all.

Thank you from me and everyone else who helps us make our Tuesday evenings the best place to be.
