It was another fantastic showcase of St Helens youth rugby league as host club Thatto Heath Crusaders welcomed the Clock Face Miners & Newton Storm Under 7s for a high-energy round robin. The atmosphere brought out the absolute best in all of the teams, with the young Miners showing brilliant teamwork, heavy effort in their tagging, and some fantastic supportive running. Facing them, the Thatto Heath & Newton Storm youngsters matched that intensity with excellent handling skills and a great team spirit. Focused entirely on player development, skill-building, and having fun, the event was a massive success, backed by a packed and encouraging crowd of parents and coaches shouting from the sidelines.

Two disappointing results for our Open Age teams on Saturday against Orrell St James ARLFC.
Nobody enjoys defeat, but setbacks are part of the journey. Character isn't shown when things are going well — it's shown in how you respond when they don't.
We'll dust ourselves down, work harder, train smarter, and come back stronger. Every session is an opportunity to improve, every challenge is a chance to grow, and every player has a part to play in the response.
Heads up, stick together, trust the process, and keep moving forward. The hard work starts now. 💪

Last night, 11 of the u9s squad headed over to the BrewDog Stadium to watch Saints take on Warrington.

The boys were meant to be playing at half time, but unfortunately the weather had other plans and it had to be called off.

That didn’t stop them though – they still got to take part in the flag ceremony, watch their idols up close, and experience a tough game of rugby.

There’s nothing quite like stepping foot on that field… the same place their heroes play, and where they may dream of playing in the future.
It’s all about making memories, and that’s exactly what they did.

Not the result we wanted on the night, but every one of these lads had an amazing time 👏🏉
