What a fantastic start to the 2026 iQFOiL World Championships in Weymouth & Portland! 🏄‍♂️🌍

On Saturday, youngsters from the RYA Elevate Programme at the Official Test Centre (OTC) had the brilliant opportunity to take part in the Opening Ceremony, joining the celebrations surrounding one of the biggest events in international windsurfing.

It was a fantastic experience for the young windsurfers — getting to be part of a world-class event taking place right here on their home waters. 💙

🌊 THE iQFOiL WORLDS ARE INCOMING! 🌊

The windsurfers have already arrived at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, and preparations are well underway for an incredible week of high-speed iQFOiL racing!

The Official Test Centre is based right in the heart of the action, with some of the world’s best competitors now training and preparing around us.

🏁 Qualifying: 5th–11th September
🏆 Finals Day: Saturday 12th September
📍 Racing from the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy

On Finals Day, a special Fan Zone will be set up around Weymouth Pavilion, with a big screen showing the racing and opportunities to get involved in sailing with the RYA.

The atmosphere is already building—we can’t wait for the racing to begin! 🤙
