They are an amazing asset run mostly by volunteers to Save Any Life At Sea, which includes animals and pets…

RNLI lifeboats were tasked by the coastguard and launched 9,058 times in 2025. 109 of those launches were to those in distress in the Channel, representing 1.2 per cent of the RNLI’s total rescue work. Nearly 95 per cent of those who crossed the English Channel in small boats last year – one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world – were picked up by the UK Border Force.

Our next fundraising event is our annual RNLI Santa Dive on 12th December to the wreck of the British Inventor departing Portland Marina at 9.30 am - Santa, Elf costumes a must…

Our midweek, FRiDiVES and Friday evening calendars will be added very soon, so you can extend your weekend diving with us..

We offer tea, coffee and hot chocolate along with our legendary hot pasties….

Departing Portland Marina, with a large car park and trolleys to transport gear, with gas supplies and dive gear only a short distance away….

We also offer diving out from West Bay, we’re we relocate Waverider to depart out from, which enables us to offer additional wreck sites like Baygitano, Moidart, Alisa Craig, Gibel Hamam and St. Dunstan along with many scenic reefs, simply contact us for details when booking.

Don’t forget we also have Typhoon our Ribcraft 7.8 Pro which carries 8 divers making it ideal for diver training shuttle trips to Portland Harbour wrecks and local dive sites…
