Nice 45 mins dive this afternoon with Steve and Sam, with Sam leading the dive for the first time and did really well brought us all back to the beach with no problems. I realised the other day that it was in August 1999 that I did my open water course at Chesil Beach 25 years ago and I've been teaching off the beach for 20 years. Time has flown by.

Today I finally had my first dive of the year it's almost 7 months to the day since I was last able to dive off Chesil Beach due to all the bad weather we've had this winter. Thanks to Steve Wolves for suggesting it. Not only first dive of the year but also first wetsuit dive this year in my O'Three 6.5mm with a rash vest only had my 2mm summer hood in the kit box so a bit of an ice cream head moment when I first went in semi dry glove kept my hands warm for the 42mins vis was 2-4mtrs.

Shout out to all my underwater photographer friends, Portland Museum is wanting videos photos of the bombardon unit in the harbour or the landing craft etc for a small exhibition for the 80th Anniversary of the D Day landings. Please let me know if you have any good clear footage that they could show to visitors. Credit will be given to all who help. Thanks.
