🐆 PANTHERS SWAP THE PITCH FOR A WELL-DESERVED DAY OUT! 🐆

Before the football season gets back underway, the Panthers swapped the pitch for a day of fun, laughter and something completely different! 🙌

Money raised from our recent bingo fundraiser was put towards giving the boys a chance to get off the pitch, try something new and enjoy a day out with their families. ❤️

We all know football wouldn’t be possible without the amazing parents behind the scenes. From lifts, kit, training, match days and everything in between, you make our jobs so much easier and allow these little superstars 🌟 to do what they love.

A massive thank you to Amy Harris for organising the whole day, sorting the travel and coordinating around 32 people to take part. 👏

Days like this are what being part of the Panthers family is all about. 💙🖤

A brilliant day, brilliant memories and plenty of tired Panthers! 😂🐆

🐆 PANTHERS 4–1 BRIDPORT BEES 🐝

First 9v9 game of the new season! ⚽️

A hot afternoon made for a tough test, with several new boys and girls making their Panthers debut. ☀️ We started in a new attacking formation and created plenty of chances, but the Bridport keeper was in inspired form. 🧤🔥

🥅 NOAH opened the scoring with a brilliant toe-poked finish into the top corner! 😂⚽️

HALF TIME: PANTHERS 1–0 🐆

We switched back to our usual shape after the break and immediately looked sharper.

🥅 MARSHALL doubled the lead with a superb strike into the top corner. 🚀

Bridport responded well, pulling one back after a long ball we failed to deal with.

2–1 PANTHERS

The Panthers soon regained control:

🥅 ALEX turned sharply on the edge of the box and finished calmly. 👏

🥅 JACOB HARRIS then sealed it, latching onto a defence-splitting pass and finishing confidently past the keeper. 🎯⚽️

FULL TIME: PANTHERS 4–1 BRIDPORT BEES 🐆🐝

A strong start to the season with plenty of positives, especially in attack and in-game adaptation.

A massive well done to all our players, boys and girls, especially those making their first appearance for the Panthers! 💙👏

💙🐆 TOURNAMENT DAY 🐆💙

A long day to say the least! ☀️

With 8 games scheduled in the heat, using our substitutes wisely was always going to be crucial. Unfortunately one team pulled out, which meant an even longer wait before we got going.

Once we were on the pitch though… wow! The football these kids played was outstanding. Their attitude, teamwork and willingness to rotate positions was brilliant to see.

🤝 Drew 2

That unbeaten run saw us finish top of our group and book our place in the semi-finals.

The semi-final brought more fantastic football, and a 2-0 victory sent us into the final.

Unfortunately, we just came up short in the final, but there are so many positives to take from the day. Every single player gave everything they had, and as coaches we couldn’t be prouder.

A huge well done to all of the kids. Without them, none of this is possible. The future is looking very bright for this Panthers team. 💙🥅🐆
