I’ve never struggled with training.
I’ve always enjoyed it, that was the “easy” part.

But training hard alone never got me the results I wanted.

What was actually holding me back was everything outside the gym.
No structure, poor food choices, low activity outside sessions, inconsistency.

Once I got the basics in place and became more consistent, everything changed physically and mentally.

I still enjoy training just as much, but it feels a lot better now actually seeing the progress from it.

By the pictures you’d probably think we completely overhauled everything overnight, but no, the biggest changes came from the small things.

Getting steps in daily instead of being inactive most of the day.🚶‍♀️

Making better food choices more consistently, without cutting everything out.🍕

And most importantly, actually sticking to the plan not giving up and starting over again.🏋️‍♀️

That’s the part most people underestimate. Results usually don’t come from doing one massive thing perfectly, they come from doing the basics well, consistently enough for them to add up over time 👌

99% of the time “too busy” is just used as an excuse.

Most of the time it can be solved with a bit of structure built in. Focus on these 6 points⬇️

If it’s not in your calendar, it won’t happen. Treat your sessions like a doctor’s appointment. You wouldn’t miss that on purpose would you?

You don’t need an hour everyday, 20–30 mins of exercise can be enough to get started and build upon.

Have 2–3 quick and easy meals you can always fall back on, stops bad choices when you feel rushed.

Decide your meals the night before, not when you’re hungry.

Don’t miss 2 days in a row, missed today? Cool that happens, back to it tomorrow, don’t punish yourself.

Have a “bad day” plan, shorter session, easier meals, doing something is always better than nothing.

These tips aren’t difficult to implement so why keep avoiding it🤷‍♂️

No mad diets, no extremes,
just doing the basics properly and repeating them.

1️⃣ Train With Intent
Don’t just turn up and half arse your sessions. Try to beat what you did last week, even if it’s just one more rep.

2️⃣ Eat More Protein
Most people massively underestimate how much protein helps with fat loss, recovery and building muscle.

3️⃣ Move more outside the gym
Walking more during the day makes a bigger difference than people think.

None of this is complicated.

But these basics done consistently work far better than constantly jumping between new plans and diets.
