Can we all please stop commenting on other people’s bodies?
I am proud to say that I have LOTS of clients who have completely transformed their bodies and their mindsets.
They are the fittest, strongest most ENERGISED versions of themselves.
But a commonality between all of them is that they have begun to receive unsolicited and negative comments from those around them. And we’re talking about this more and more in our community.
I’m a huge fan of paying credit where credit is due; if someone looks fab - tell them. But if you don’t like how someone looks because it differs from what you personally think is a more pleasing aesthetic - keep it to yourself.
I’ve had the ‘you’re too muscly/ I wouldn’t want to look like you’ comments all my life. And now they’re like water off a duck’s back (they actually make me feel quite smug, like I’m doing something right 💪)
But I feel very protective of my clients and it makes me sad that their healthy bodies are being commented on in a negative way.
So if someone ever says something about not wanting to look like you, do what I do - give them a wink and say “Don’t worry babes - you never will”
If you like to see women supporting women, we are the community for you 🩷
