Hello Iris. I’ve been coming to your Pilates class twice a week for five years and enjoyed every one of them.
Now very near to my 80th birthday I want to thank you for helping me feel very much younger than that!
I’ve written this little ditty to show my appreciation and gratitude 🙏

A Thankyou to Iris

The galloping years were beginning to drown
me in their quicksand, pulling me down
Then Iris and Pilates came to my aid
Stiffness and age both firmly laid
back in the past. I’m now agile and free
Years have all flown, I’m here, the real me!
I can stand on one leg with grace and with ease
No longer the pain of old creaking knees.
I can bend to the floor both hands touching toes
With laughter, and fun, away go my woes
And after the class I skip through the door
With newly found friends for coffee and more.
I go home with a smile and warmth in my soul.
Away with you age! I’ve conquered your toll !!
