Secret? No.

Effective? Absolutely.

Fat loss doesn't have to be complicated, but you do need to know how much you're actually eating.

One of the most common things I hear is:

"My partner cooks for the family."

No problem.

Just ask them to weigh your portion before serving it up. It takes seconds.

Because if you don't, you're probably falling into one of the biggest fat loss traps there is...

Guessing.

Adding random amounts of ingredients.

Piling your plate higher because it looks right.

Thinking you need far more food than you actually do.

Those little extras add up fast, and before you know it, you're eating hundreds more calories than you realise.

So let me ask you...

Do you want to lose body fat, feel confident in your clothes, enjoy meals out without stressing over every menu, and finally stop jumping from one FAD diet to the next?

Then start weighing your food.

It isn't obsessive.

It's educational.

And once you know what a proper portion looks like, fat loss becomes so much easier.

🚨 Shiny new Instagram fat loss hacks always end the same way...

❌ Failure.

Not because you're broken.

Because most of them are designed for views and engagement, not actual results.

Everyone wants the secret.

Nobody wants to master the basics.

If you want to lose fat before your next holiday, do these 3 things first:

1️⃣ Weigh everything you eat.

Most people aren't eating as little as they think they are.

2️⃣ Track everything you eat for the next 14 days.

No guessing.

No "that doesn't count."

No weekend amnesia. 😅

I guarantee you'll be shocked at how much you were actually consuming before.

3️⃣ Prioritise your sleep. 😴

Getting 7-8 hours per night will do more for your hunger levels, energy, recovery and consistency than signing up to Slimming World for the fifth time.

The truth?

You don't need another fat loss hack.

You need to become brilliant at the basics.

Master these 3 things first.

🚨 "I've ONLY lost 1kg in 2 weeks..."

That's toxic language.

Try reframing it to:

🤯 "I've lost 1kg WITHOUT giving up chocolate."

See the difference?

The way you speak about your progress matters.

Because negative thoughts create negative actions.

And negative actions rarely lead to great results. ❌

If you constantly focus on what you haven't achieved yet, you'll never appreciate how far you've already come.

So yes, you need to take action if you want to lose fat before your summer holiday. ☀️

But you also need to change the way you view your progress.
The next time you catch yourself saying:

😒 "I've only lost 1kg..."

Go and pick up a 1kg bag of sugar.

Now imagine picking up one of those for every kilo you've lost since starting your journey.

5kg? That's five bags.

10kg? That's ten bags.

Suddenly, it doesn't feel like "only" anymore. 💭

Fat loss isn't about perfection.

It's about recognising the wins, staying consistent, and keeping momentum on your side. 💪🔥

Stop saying "only."
