MAKITA SENSEI HONBU DOJO SEMINARS

We are extremely pleased to announce that Takuya Makita Sensei will visit the JKS Scotland Honbu Dojo to teach all NORMAL CLASSES on Friday 9th & Monday 12th October 2026.

To attend any of these sessions simply book in as normal via the app for the classes on those nights.

THERE IS NO SPECIAL SEMINAR APPLICATION NEEEDED.

Please note: The class numbers will be capped so please book soon to avoid disappointment,

ALL CLASSES ARE FREE OF CHARGE AS LONG AS YOU ARE WITHIN YOUR SUBSCRIPTION PACKAGE!

Makita Sensei is a JKS Japan Honbu Dojo Instructor and former JKS World Kata Champion & teaches globally throughout the year. It is a must to train with this incredible Instructor.

Open to all.

Visitor Cost: £12 per session. Please email [email protected] to reserve a space if any are available and pay on arrival.

There is a limit of 50 spaces available for each of the sessions, so please book via the app asap to avoid disappointment.

Another great week of Active Schools tasters in Dunfermline 🥋

JKS Scotland Honbu Dojo has been out visiting Touch, Lynburn and Commercial Primary Schools, giving pupils the chance to try karate, learn some new skills and have some fun along the way.

A big thank you to Fife Active Schools for helping make these sessions possible and for giving us the opportunity to introduce more young people to karate 👊
