And that’s a wrap on the 25/26 league and cup season for all our teams, and what a season it’s been! 💚🖤
After both senior teams earned promotion last season, the aim this year was simple: survive.
Our 1st Team managed that and more, finishing an impressive 6th in the league with some fantastic performances throughout the season.
The 2nd Team left it late, securing safety on the final day of the season, but the lads dug deep and got the job done. A well-earned break now before we come back fighting again next season.
Our first ever season with a junior setup at the club has been a huge success.
The Under 11’s had a fantastic year, ending the season with two cup wins while playing some phenomenal football along the way. The future is incredibly bright for this group of boys. 🏆🏆
Our Under 10’s also had a brilliant season. For many of the boys, it was their first year playing together, and the smiles on their faces every week have done the club proud.
The progress this club has made over the past few years, both on and off the pitch, is a credit to the coaches, committee members, volunteers, supporters, and everyone involved in helping Burton Thistle continue to grow.
Next season, we’re proud to welcome our first ever girls’ team to the club, with hopefully even more growth to come in the future.
As always, clubs like ours rely on good people behind the scenes. We’re always looking for new committee members to join us on our journey and help support the club moving forward.
