We are barely showered and rested from Bank Holiday weekend before we pack up again and head over the Pennines to Thirsk for our last competition of our debut year! 🙌

How is it already September??! 🤔

We have two Open teams and one Foundation team running this weekend at our sixth and final competition for 2026. 💎 🌟

Hopefully it will be a little drier! ☔️

(Gem) Star of the Week is our young handler Lucy who did an amazing job running a dog for the first time at Cheshire Polo Club this weekend. 🙌

Lucy and Harry were start dog, which means Lucy is responsible for ensuring the team is ready to race. 👍

The pair, along with Buddy, George and Woody, came 3rd in their division.

A weekend of firsts at Cheshire Polo Club for bank holiday flyball. 😎

In Open racing, Gemstars Sapphires got their first 1st place 🥇 with Nicki and Prim making their debut and getting their first points on the board. 👏🎉

In our first Multibreed. Gemstars Dazzlers bagged a 3rd place with H**e making her debut in sanctioned competition 🙌

And in Foundation, Gemstars Unpolished also managed a 3rd 🥉with young handler Lucy racing for the first time with our resident foundation dog Harry. 💪

Also, first time racing in the rain 🌧 😆

One more competition this year as we head to Thirsk next weekend. 🙌

It’s back to the lanes this weekend as the team head to Cheshire for the Bank Holiday. ☀️ 🐶
With three teams competing and our first Multibreed competition it will be a busy one! 🙌☺️
Multibreed is a special version of the sport where the competing dogs must be of different breeds. Our multibreed team, Gemstars Dazzlers, includes a golden retriever, border collie, lab retriever, spaniel and crossbreed.

This weekend sees the Open Debut for Nicki and Prim and Janine and H**e. 💜🤍🤩

We are ready ready ready!! 💎 🌟

It was passing practice over in the Open team with Prim and H**e preparing for their debut in Multibreed and Milly and Niamh working on their passing. 💜🤍

A busy Saturday Session in the sunshine at Hest Bank Kennels Ltd today. Preparations are underway for our next competition over the Bank Holiday weekend. 💪

Our final Taster session of the year will be held on Saturday 19th September at 2pm at Heversham.

Your dog must have a reasonable recall, not be aggressive and like a tennis ball. Dogs must be between 1-5 years old.
