We got a bit damp today at Eggborough but it was the first time we’ve had to run in the rain all year so mustn’t grumble! Massive thanks to Emma for running Bobby in the pouring rain when she could have been warm and dry! Quite a way off our declared time so no rosettes but another bit of incremental improvement for Earnie, continuing to run after getting a bit confused for a couple of legs.

A scorching day at The Doghouse Flyball Club tournament yesterday but despite the heat we knocked half a second off our seed time and came away with a very respectable 3rd, despite being seeded last in the div. Very pleased with Iggy for running a full day's flyball without injury and with Earnie for keeping his head after being interfered with. Big thanks to The Doghouse Flyball Club for host and Andrew Short for doing our line all day and making the handlers look like we knew what we were doing...

Hard won 1st in our division today at the Red Rose competition at Penny Farm, despite the heat. Thanks to Red Rose for putting on the tournament at such a lovely (local!) venue and Martyn and Hazel for doing our line. Earnie’s missing from the shot but he ran really well in the first two races before it all got a little overwhelming.

Relaxing day in the sunshine at the Antics Flyball Team show at Dogs Unleashed. It was all looking good after the mornings racing but after a walk round the show and some lunch the human part of the team got a little excited and produced more lights than Blackpool illuminations. At least the dogs were reliable, Earnie ran really well all day, he’s turning into a reliable open dog at last and Rodney got some more clean legs under his belt. Thanks to Antics for putting on the show and Watson's Flyball Team for doing the line (Even though mysteriously their line calls produced lights and a loss that gave them the div win 🤔)

A well-earned 3rd place today at Sutton Fields for the main team, little Pixel ran her socks off and Rodney has doubled his open points by completing several flawless legs 😮Thanks to Watson's Flyball Team for the help and congrats on winning the division (Even though we let you win...)

Really good training session this morning despite the heat, great progress from the new dogs and some successful distraction training for Rodney. 👍 Some fairly red faces by the time we’d finished though, you’ve all earnt a drink! 😳

Massive thanks to Ready2Fly Flyball Team for hosting our first UKFL tournament of the year, great venue and the promised rain never appeared 😀 Looking forward to coming back next year. We either broke out or had "technical" (handler!) issues but really pleased with how the dogs ran, especially Rodney getting some clean legs in at the end in open racing. We didn't win the division but we did win the chocolate in the raffle which is arguably better... Thanks as well to Hazel and Reiver Rebels Flyball Teams, Dolphins Flyball and Dundee Dynamutz Flyball Team for the help today, as a small team we just couldn't run without the support we get at every competition. Hopefully we can return the favour one day! Sorry we skipped presentation, long day for the human puppy and she'd reached the end of her tether...
