** CANCELLED ** Due to the very wet outfield and the dodgy looking weather in the morning I have had to call it and cancel the egg hunt tomorrow 🥺

We have been so lucky up to now and this is the first time I have had to make this call 😢

I have already purchased everything and I will bag up the treats for each child so they can still get a good old bag of Easter goodies!
If anyone is not happy with this and wants a refund please let me know and I will get some cash ready to collect instead 🥺

I will be at the club from 10-11 or then from 1 to collect x

Dynamos Cricket provides boys and girls from 8-11 years old with non-stop fun. Each week there will be a focus on a different cricket skill to build their confidence and ability, before they take part in a 60-ball countdown cricket match.

Following the AGM and our previous message about Brendan and Steve, the club can announce that the new Chairman and Vice Chairman are Lee Potter and Mark Holmes.
Lee has been at the club for over 30 years and knows it and the people inside out. He has played at all levels within the club and is a former 1st and 2nd team captain.
Mark has been at the club for almost 20 years and has previously served as both Chairman and Vice Chairman.
Both have said that they just want to carry on with the good work done by the previous holders of their positions and continue to progress the club.
There won't be many changes and they're looking forward to working with our brilliant staff and volunteers.
Lee said “I'm really proud to be the new Chairman of Carnforth Cricket Club. There's some things that go on in the background which I haven't previously seen much of but I'm looking forward to the challenge and I'm grateful for all of the help from the committee and volunteers. Hopefully we can have many successful seasons both on and off the field”.
Mark said “I'm looking forward to supporting Lee, the committee and all of the volunteers at the club. The club has been left in a good position and we just want to continue the previous good work.
There's a really busy season ahead with games on most Saturdays and Sundays and we have already been awarded the Northern League Cup Final, a brilliant accolade for the club and I'm sure it will be an occasion to enjoy”.
