Who you gonna call?

These days, you don’t even have to call.

Phone, email, live chat or WhatsApp, whatever’s easiest, our technical support team (our very own Tech Busters) is ready when you need them.

Always a real person on the other end, ready to help whichever way you get in touch.

We hope your kit’s running perfectly and you never need us. But if you do, we’re right here https://support.habitech.co.uk/

The clocks have gone back and the dark nights are creeping in. There’s no better time of year to show your clients what a proper home cinema can do.

Whether it’s a horror classic with the lights down or the whole family in for the Halloween weekend, the right room turns any film into an event, with immersive sound that comes from everywhere and nowhere and a picture that pulls you in.

A reminder though: our showroom closes for refurbishment on Monday 9 November, so there’s a short window left to experience it as it is now.

Speak to your account manager and book your demo today.

If your client’s after the perfect setup for scary movie season, look no further.

The Sonos Ultimate Immersive Set delivers full surround sound in three parts: the Arc Ultra soundbar up front, a Sub 4 for the kind of bass you feel in your chest, and two Era 300s placed behind the seating, so every creak, whisper and jump scare comes from all around them.

Proper cinema immersion, no custom install needed. Just lights off, sound up, and something scary on.

The amp that disappears behind the TV.

The Sonance UA 2-125 is small enough to fit inside the TV back box, a structured wiring can or an outdoor enclosure. No rack in sight, nothing on show.

Just 125 watts per channel, full DSP and HDMI eARC, so a single cable from the TV gives your client proper sound with nothing cluttering the room.

Your eyes were built for the dark.

Long before screens, we evolved to pick shapes out of the shadows, the outline of something moving in the undergrowth at dusk. It’s why black level and shadow detail matter more to how we see than brightness ever will.

It’s exactly where JVC UK projectors excel. Deep, true blacks and native contrast that reveal shadow detail the way the director, and nature, intended. Horror and sci-fi especially live or die on it.

Contrast is king.

Great sound starts somewhere. For M&K, it starts in Copenhagen.

Last month we took a group of our dealers out to spend a couple of days with M&K Sound. Time in the studios where the speakers are developed, an early look at what’s coming next, and plenty of good food and good company along the way.

A brilliant few days with a brilliant group. Thank you to M&K Sound for having us.

A couple of months back, we hosted the PVA Certified Professional Video Calibrator training here at Habitech, and it was a brilliant few days.

Four days of hands-on learning with Gregg Loewen, founder of the Professional Video Alliance, and our own Dr Julian Scott, taking integrators from colour science fundamentals right through to 4K and HDR calibration, 3D LUTs and Rec 2020 colour. Intensive, practical, and finished with certification.

Because a display or projector is only ever as good as its calibration. It’s the difference between a good picture and a reference one.

The difference between a good picture and a perfect one is in the pixels.

In a reference cinema, every line should be razor-sharp, with no colour fringing at the edges. JVC’s Pixel Adjust lets you align the projector’s panels precisely, right down to the individual pixel, so the image is as crisp in the corners as it is in the centre.

Here, Dr Julian Scott walks through exactly how it’s done. The kind of detail that separates a flawless install from a nearly-there one.

A beautiful outdoor space isn’t finished until you can hear it.

The new Sonance Mariner MX brings clear, even sound to a garden, terrace or poolside, so the space doesn’t just look the part, it feels alive to be in. VX transducers keep every note clean right across the area, and it’s engineered to hold up outdoors, season after season.

The finishing touch that turns a space your client designed into one they never want to leave.
