🌟 Meet Quo McF (they/them): Hearts and Hands Massage Therapy operating inside Every Body STRONGER 💕💆✨

Quo is a Registered Massage Therapist with a background in Child and Youth Care Counselling, specializing in Disability. ♿💙 Quo loved working in this field but knew they needed a change while continuing to support vulnerable populations, including people with disabilities.
They are passionate about meeting people where they are at 🤝 while supporting individual needs to create a safer, more welcoming environment for everyone. 🌈✨

Quo prioritizes community access by being mindful of who can reach their services, promoting in shared spaces such as community hubs and public transit. 🚌🏘️ They also work to make care more inclusive and accessible for people who may not typically have access to massage therapy, including houseless community members. 🤍

A few weeks ago, the Every Body STRONGER crew finally made something happen that was long overdue - we got (almost 😉) the whole team together in one place! 🫶

Between individual check-ins, celebrating team wins, catching up on gym initiatives, and sharing plenty of laughs, it was a day that reminded us how special this community really is. 💙

After our staff huddle, our incredible yoga therapist Dawn put together a fitness scavenger hunt that brought out everyone’s competitive (and playful 🤸🏾) side. It was the perfect team-building activity before heading over to Cold Garden for some good food, cold drinks, and warm conversation. 🍻🗣️🍕

Because our team is spread across different schedules and locations, opportunities like this don’t come around often. Getting to connect face-to-face, share life updates, support one another, and simply enjoy being together was a true highlight. 🌈

We’re so grateful for the people who make Every Body STRONGER what it is every single day. Here’s to building strength, community, and plenty more memories together. 💪✨

✨ Meet Piper Menini! ✨
Registered Dietitian & 🌿 Intuitive Eating Counsellor

Through The Nourish Collective, Piper works with clients using a weight-inclusive, trauma-informed approach grounded in the belief of “nutrition for all bodies.” 💛

It was important for Piper to connect with a fitness space that shares the same values and approach to care 🤝, which led her to begin her journey with EBS 💫.

🌱 Piper works with many individuals navigating disordered eating and developing intuitive eating practices. Her person-centered approach is rooted in weight-neutral values, supporting clients as they rebuild trust with their bodies 💕, reconnect with hunger and fullness cues 🍽️, and develop a more flexible relationship with food 🥙✨—without relying on restrictive or regimented meal plans.

🧠 Piper has also been working with neurodivergent folks, specifically people with ADHD, on body nourishment and how to work with their ADHD rather than against it when navigating eating challenges 🌟.

There’s a quiet misconception that to support someone fully, you have to be like them… that shared identity is the only doorway to understanding. 🤔

In spaces like gyms, where growth, vulnerability, and trust intersect, something deeper matters more: intention, awareness, and a willingness to listen. 🧠💬

You don’t have to be q***r to create a space where q***r people feel safe in their bodies. You don’t have to be trans to respect someone’s relationship with movement, strength, and visibility. You don’t have to live with a disability to recognize that bodies move through the world in vastly different ways, each deserving of dignity, adaptability, and respect. 🌈♿💪

What you do have to be is attentive. Curious without being invasive. Educated without assuming expertise over lived experience. 👀📚

Coaching across difference isn’t about claiming understanding, it’s about building it, piece by piece, through trust and listening. 🧩🤝

Solidarity in EBS isn’t solely about shared identity. It’s about shared humanity. It’s about recognizing that everyone deserves to feel strong, safe, and seen in their body, even if their experience of that body is different from your own. ❤️

And when that’s the foundation, training becomes more than instruction. It becomes care. 🌱

Boy oh boy do we have a story for YOU! 💥🔥

Betty, one of the participants in the Spring Into Strength small group class that Dawn teaches at Every Body STRONGER, flipped a 220-pound tractor tire at the end of class. Twice! 💪🚜

Betty is 75 years young. She’ll celebrate her 76th birthday this month. She is a twice-over cancer survivor. And last year, she had a total knee replacement, which is actually what brought her to class. When Betty first walked into Spring Into Strength, she couldn’t step onto an 18-inch box without significant assistance.

In this video, you can see Betty, Alison, Rosemarie, Debbie & Gerie all flip the 220lbs tire!!! 🎉❤️

What changed wasn’t magic. It was repetition, patience, and a willingness to explore weight shift to feel what it means to move through space with intention. 🔁✨

This is exactly what Every Body STRONGER is built for. A place where every body gets to find out what it’s capable of. At any age. At any stage. After any setback. 🌟

That’s right everyone.. The Coldest Night of the Year is approaching… ❄️

This is a family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. ❤️‍🩹

Some of our crew at Every Body STRONGER will be leading the warm up for the walk at the Woods Homes Inglewood Opportunity Hub. Will you join us?! 🏃🏿‍♂️‍➡️ 🌠

We would love to see our fellow community members, especially other Inglewood neighbours, friends & businesses walk alongside us for this important initiative. 🫶
