🔴 REMINDER: WHAT IS A GROUND MANAGER'S ROLE? 🔴

You may have seen our Ground Managers around the venue wearing their RED vests, but do you know what their role actually is?

✅ Ensuring a safe and positive environment for players, officials and spectators
✅ Managing spectator behaviour and enforcing the Code of Conduct
✅ Supporting and protecting match officials
✅ Monitoring sidelines, interchanges and on-field safety requirements
✅ Assisting with crowd control and incident management
✅ Helping ensure everyone enjoys their Rugby League experience

🚫 What a Ground Manager is NOT there to do:

❌ Referee the game
❌ Override referee decisions
❌ Debate rules with spectators or team officials
❌ Criticise or assess referee performance
❌ Act as a team representative

Our Ground Managers are volunteers who play a critical role in protecting our game, supporting our referees, and maintaining a safe, family-friendly environment for everyone. Their focus is on safety, welfare and behaviour, not the outcome of the match.

💬 Please remember that if you see a Ground Manager addressing behaviour, managing a situation, or supporting a match official, they are simply doing the job they have been appointed to do.
