A massive congratulations to TJ Talaileva on signing a two-year deal with the ACT Brumbies! 🏉🔥

What a year it has been for TJ. From leading the Wildfires pack, to representing Australia at the U20 Rugby World Cup, and now taking the next big step in his rugby journey with the Brumbies.

TJ is a proud Southern Beaches junior, and his success is something our entire club can celebrate. We’ve watched him develop from a young age into a player ready to take on one of Australian rugby’s biggest stages.

We couldn’t be prouder, TJ. Your hard work, leadership and commitment are a credit to you, your family and everyone who has supported you along the way.

After a tough 2026 season, Southern Beaches Senior Rugby Club is resetting, and we’re ready to build.

We’re looking for passionate, driven and committed coaches who want to play a genuine role in helping our club get back to the glory days.

We want people who:
Are eager to make a difference
Are great communicators
Know how to build strong relationships
Are committed to developing players and creating a positive club environment

We’re investing in our coaching group and providing the resources to help our senior program move forward, including coaching remuneration package and a player recruitment support program.

Whether you’re an experienced head coach, an up-and-coming coach, or someone ready to take the next step, we want to hear from you.

This is about more than coaching a team. It’s about helping shape the future of Southern Beaches Rugby Club.

What a weekend!

A huge congratulations to our Southern Beaches U/14s, who have earned their place in the Grand Final! What an incredible achievement.

Commiserations to our U/13s and U/16s, who fought hard and represented the club with plenty of pride. Your efforts this season have been outstanding.

We couldn’t be prouder of every player, coach and support staff member who has contributed to what has been a fantastic season across our junior teams.

A massive thank you also goes to all of our volunteers who give up their time week after week to make Southern Beaches Rugby Club what it is. The club simply wouldn’t happen without you.

Now, let’s get behind the U/14s and give them the support they deserve!

From 630am starts to 630pm cleaning and closing and 830pm shopping and restocking. We pulled off a great Semi final series with the very best of our beaches volunteers.
From setting up to packing down fields, running scoreboards, ball people, bbqers, Baristas, cleaners, canteen helpers and every little role in between.
Thank you to all who put their hand up and showed up for an hour or for all 3 days in some cases. You are the very best that beaches has 💙🖤💛

IT’S SEMI-FINALS WEEKEND AT THE BEACHES!

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Southern Beaches will be proud to host the HJRU Rugby Union Major & Minor Semi-Finals and we want to see the whole Beaches family getting behind it!

There are two big ways you can help make the weekend a success:

1. GET BEHIND OUR JUNIORS

Come down, grab a coffee, cheer from the sideline and make some noise!

🔵 Friday: U13 Girls
🔵 Saturday: U14 Boys
🔵 Sunday: U16 Boys

These kids have worked hard all season, and there’s nothing better than a big home crowd behind them when it matters most.

2. GIVE A LITTLE OF YOUR TIME

Running a weekend like this takes plenty of volunteers but you don’t need to give up your whole day.

An hour, a game, a shift or whatever time you can spare makes a difference. Every bit of help is appreciated and helps us put on a great weekend for the players, families and visiting clubs.
