Pre-season isn’t quite here yet. The work is for these girls though 🔥.

Who’s getting excited for the upcoming A-League Women’s Season?

Pain ≠ stop training.

Pain is information, not a stop sign.
Good rehab isn’t rest, it’s smart modification.

Adjust the load, range, or intent and keep building capacity instead of losing it.

Rehab is still training. Just with clearer rules.
👉🏻 Modify, don’t miss, with the APC team.

Not all hamstring training is created equal.
The best athletes don’t just build stronger hamstrings, they build hamstrings that can absorb force, produce force, and stay resilient when it matters most. 🚀

🟢 Good: Single-Leg Hamstring March
Build tissue capacity, improve control, and develop strength where the hamstrings work hardest. The perfect foundation for resilience and rehab.

🔥 Great: Overcoming Isometric
Now we’re turning up the intensity. Maximal intent without movement teaches the hamstrings to produce high levels of force while improving stiffness, strength and force transfer.

⚡ GOAT: Switch & Catch
Fast. Reactive. Athletic. This is where the hamstrings learn to rapidly absorb and produce force, qualities that transfer directly to sprinting, change of direction and late-stage return to sport.

Every athlete wants to sprint faster...
But faster sprinting starts with stronger, more resilient hamstrings.
Build the capacity. Develop the strength. Then train the speed.
That’s how you create hamstrings built for performance. 💥

👇🏻 Which athletic progression should we break down next?

The goal isn’t just to lift more weight.
It’s to become more powerful, more efficient, and more athletic. ⚡

🏋️ Good: Dumbbell Push Press
Develops total-body power, coordination and unilateral control while reinforcing strong overhead mechanics.

🔥 Great: Barbell Push Press
Now you can produce more force, move heavier loads, and build serious upper-body power through the legs and hips.

👑 GOAT: Jerk
The ultimate expression of power. More speed, more precision, and the ability to transfer force efficiently from the ground to the bar. It’s not about being stronger... it’s about being faster.

The best athletes don’t skip straight to the jerk.
They build the strength, master the timing, and earn the right to move explosively.

Power is built one progression at a time. 💥

You don’t need to be pain-free to start rehab.

You need the right plan, the right progressions, and the right guidance.

Start early. Load intentionally.

Athlete Achievement 🧤

Incredible news for our former APC athlete Jordan Baylis signing a Scholarship Contract with the Newcastle Jets for next season ✈️

Jordan came to APC to rehab a meniscus tear, returning strongly and continuing to build his strength 💪🏻

The last 12 months Jordan has been with the A-League men’s team, playing for the Youth Men’s team and appearing on the bench a handful of times ⚽️

We are incredibly proud of his achievements and can’t wait to see Jordan progress 📈
