Incase you missed it on Instagram I just announced some exciting news!

This has been a dream for years and I’m so excited to announce that I am opening my business, Redefining Nutrition.

I have been working behind the scenes to bring this dream to life, excited, stressed, a little scared but it feels so right. Thank you to my beautiful bestie Jess for my beautiful website (you can check it out in my bio). Thank you to my boyfriend Hayden for supporting me over a very, busy few months and always making my day. Finally a huge thank you to new friendships - Erin where would I be without all of your encouragement, I am very excited to be running my clinic from your beautiful space.

We will be running Mat pilates classes starting in September! The space will hold 10-15 people, with privacy. Mat pilates is a great way to improve strength, mobility and core stability. One of my biggest highlights working as a dietitian is helping improve peoples relationship with food, exercise and their body.

In a society where women especially are told they need to exist in the smallest body possible and where discipline is favoured over respecting our bodies, it’s really hard to trust your health decisions.

I love when a clients are open to learning about their hunger cues, finding their healthy weight, improving body image and changing exercise to what they enjoy. To improve their health.

A lot of my clients leave the session challenged, half scared to introduce more food, not sure they can trust themselves around food or with strict rules.

Then they come back… and they loved it, they have more energy, less gut problems and less hate towards their body. I’m not saying it’s easy, diet culture messages are strong, some will step back on the scales, some will calorie count again or train when sick. But that’s ok! We keep pushing back together and create life long healthy habits.

And honestly it’s one of the most rewarding things when I hear the above and see a clients views of themselves change for the better.

It took me a 4 year nutrition & dietetics degree to find a place where I can trust and accept my body & now I’m lucky enough to help other people get there.
