NRURA is incredibly proud to recognise Newcastle referee Dru Tonks, who has been appointed to referee the Shute Shield Grand Final today.

Having begun his refereeing journey here in Newcastle, it’s fantastic to see Dru earn the opportunity to take charge of one of the biggest games on the NSW rugby calendar.

A tremendous achievement and a proud moment for Dru and everyone at NRURA who has followed his journey.
