Pacific Rifle Club

We are a family friendly full-bore long range r***e club, located in Brisbane Australia. A fi****ms license is not required for your 'come and try'.

Pacific R***e Club is a long range, fullbore target r***e club located at the Belmont Shooting Complex, Brisbane Australia. We meet every Saturday throughout the shooting season to shoot at ranges from 300 yards to 1000 yards (914 m) at the world class Belmont Shooting Complex. Our members actively compete in our sport at club, state and international events. The ultimate goal is the Commonwealth Games where individual and teams matches are shot. We shoot targets in the prone position (lying down) using single shot purpose built target r***es with precision apperture sights. New shooters are welcome by appointment to attend our 'come and try' days. They will be assigned a mentor who will provide safety training and organise a club r***e and equipment to borrow. A photo ID such as a driver's license is required however. Visit our FAQ page on our website for further details. The cost to attend our 'come & try' days is $25 each person.

It’s your chance team!! Have your say! Link is in the NRAA post

SPORTER SHOOTERS – HAVE YOUR SAY!

The NRAA has launched its Sporter SSR Impact & Participation Study, inviting Sporter shooters across Australia to share their experiences and feedback.

The study aims to better understand how the current Sporter Standard Shooting Rules are working in practice and their impact on participation in Sporter Production and Sporter Open.

The survey covers:

Participation in Sporter competitions

The impact of current rules on r***es and equipment

Fairness, accessibility and clarity of the rules

Opportunities to improve the Sporter competition experience

Your feedback will help the NRAA better understand the experiences of Sporter participants and provide valuable information to guide future discussions and decisions about the discipline.

Complete the survey here:

Survey closes: 16 December 2026 at 8:00 pm

We encourage all Sporter participants to have their say and share the survey with fellow shooters.

🥊🥊 HOLD EVERYTHING! WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?! 🤣🤣

Is that Josh wearing a NEW ZEALAND jacket at the Australia Match presentations?! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! 🇳🇿😱 Someone check his passport! 😂

And Graeme… mate… were you trying to fight your way to that gold, or was this a last-minute attempt to claim the winner’s medal?! 🥇🥊🤣

All the action of the Australia Match clearly doesn’t stop when the last shot is fired!

Friendly rivalry? Absolutely. Post-match boxing? Apparently! 🤣🇦🇺🇳🇿
