A big day on the Helidon range today with 20 members and visitors taking advantage of the bright sunny conditions to enjoy some small bore and air rifle shooting.

Great to see a mix of ages and disciplines as well proving that target shooting is definitely a sport for all ages.

The next club shoot is scheduled for Sunday 31st January at the usual start time of 9am.

Shooting sport is included in the program of the Olympic Games in Los Angeles-2028!

The Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee has included the shooting sport in the LA28 Initial Sports Programme that is proposed for approval by the forth coming IOC Session in Beijing.

Shooting sport has been part of the Olympics since the very first Games in 1896.

Congratulations to all members of our community with this great news!

New competition formats in Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun, which were approved by the ISSF Executive Committee, come into force. They are now posted on the ISSF website and will apply to all ISSF competitions from 1 January 2022.
