In today’s shoot being the Champions of Champions, Brian, Jimmy, Kate & I participated resulting in Brian entering as a veteran, Jimmy as TR, Kate as FO and I in FSA. The conditions were very windy; so windy that they called off the afternoon shoot, but Brian won the veterans class, and I won the FSA class. Needless to say we were both very happy with today’s results!

We had 2 new shooters, Esther and Sean, who unfortunately didn’t get a chance to shoot, given that later on the event was cancelled due to the extreme wind conditions. However, Nathan took them over to the zero range and introduced them to the Sporter Hunter rifle. To finish the day, Nathan and Loretta put on a BBQ and Paul cooked up a feed, as we made a day of it.

Brian, and I have been invited to shoot In the New Zealand Kings. We will try our best to represent the Gold Coast Rifle Club.

It has been an exciting weekend for the Gold Coast, considering all the weather changes we have had. Today, Gold Coast Rifle Club hosted their first SEDRA shoot, and we thank everyone who came along to support their teams and hope you enjoyed shooting as much as we did. Have a good week everyone.

It’s been an awesome day for 2 of our shooters, Brian & Kate.
Brian shot a 60.10 in practice and followed on shooting a 126.16 - his first rooster - congratulations!! In addition Kate shot her first rooster for the Gold Coast club 126.10 ! Well done to them both!!
