Natives drought is broken!

Warmest congratulations to Natives Rifle club's newly minted Queens winner, JOSH PRATT. After joining Natives in 2016 as a 13 year old, Josh's shooting has gone from strength to strength, and unlike many of us, he has not yet found a plateau.

Now 18 years young, what impresses most is not the upward trajectory of his fine shooting, but the hard work, good humour and steely resolve that has underpinned these results.

We have all been fortunate to share in Josh's growth into a fine young man, and a trusted and respected member of the team and club. Well done on this incredible achievement Josh. We are all immensely proud of you and look forward to a long future of Queens Prize wins.

Stand proud mate.

Josh Pratt wins the NQRA Queens 2021.

Natives Club House Deck Upgrade
Over the new year break, a large contingent of dedicated and hard-working members set to work expanding and upgrading our deck and surrounding grounds. Overseen by Dom Whalan and Brett Clarkson, the results are stunning, and the club owes a great debt of gratitude to all those involved. What a club!

QRA Juniors Australia Day OPM 2021

Last weekend, 19 Natives competed at the annual prize meeting in support of the Junior shooters within the QRA. Some impressive results from our members include Steve Smith (1st TR A Grade Day 1), Isaac Brinin (2nd TR C Grade Day 1, 1st Day 2, and 1st Grand Aggregate), Kim O'Loghlen (3rd TR A Grade Day 1, 3rd Grand Agg) and John Stevens (3rd FTR Day 2, 3rd Grand Agg). Special thanks also to Captain John Menzel for undertaking CRO duties and to Kim O'Loghlen for his considerable efforts in planning and logistics for the weekend.

Congrats go to young Isaac Brinin for achieving his first ever possible at 500 yards, to win the range no less! Full results are available on the Hexsystems website, and a summary of Natives scores on the club website.
