Osprey Adventures Guide Service Salmon, Steelhead and trout fishing we fish the salmon river NY and Otsego lake NY for trout and salmon.

Fall to Spring finds us on the Salmon River in Pulaski NY fishing for king and Coho salmon, winter to spring we are still on the river catching Steelhead and Brown trout . We utilize our 17 foot Willie Drift boat as long as the water level lets us. Summer finds us on the beautiful Otsego Lake in Cooperstown NY home of the Baseball Hall of Fame fishing for lake trout, brown trout and walleye.

Last trip of the season for us yesterday. Had Taylor and his 5 year old daughter aboard. Nice sunny day in the 70s amd the fish wanted to play too! Was there first time on the river and she put a whooping on some fish! Staryed at 10am and first fish came on the plugs. Didnt even get the last rod in and we had one on. Dad got that one. Next stop she looses one at the boat on a pink worm. Next stop switched baits and looses a big shiney fish to the rocks breaking the line. 3 drifts later she get her first steelhead! Both on sacks. She got play with a few more but landed her nicest late in the day probably 7 pounds. Dad got the last fish on the last stop on a pink worm. Fun day with 5 to the hoop and they played with 11 total. September will be here soon night trips for salmon start first week of sept so book now!!

Looks like were going to have flood water for a little while longer. Still have the last week of april open April 27 to May2 for drop back fishing. If the water and fish stay will have May dates till water drops or fish are all back in the lake. Have had some of the best days in May! 518-332-7361

Fishing been tougher this week. Waters still cold at 35 degrees. Had Scott and Jim aboard trying to get Jim his first steelhead. He hooked up with a nice freah one and fought it for atleast 10 min. Only for the fish to get free at the boat. Scott finally boat our only fish of the day on a egg sack. Still have a few days open next week and last week of april.

Been awhile since i put a post up. Fishing has been consistent with some nice fish around. Between the snow and artic weather fresh fish are still moving in. Fish are being taken on egg sacks, jigs, beads both soft and hard ones with plastic baits starting to take a few. Have march and only a few dates for April open. Have this sunday open also. Had Alan on board alone after his partner woke up in the morning sick. Alot of people were enjoying the river sunday but he made the most of it. Ended the day playing with 7 and boating 3 of them. Egg sacks and pink worm doing it for him.
