The Penn Yan made her first official debut of the season Saturday. Needless to say the Brown Trout fishing is phenomenal!! Plenty of openings available between the 2 boats. 315-430-6728

It’s bn a bit tougher for almost a week- we bn
grinding out decent catches still but nothing like we had going on prior. Boy we got spoiled for a while✔️
Putting some nice fish on the deck with quite mixed bag of salmon, trouts & walleyes.

Kings continue to hit the deck - the majority of our boxes have bn king salmon-
Some days we’re putting more browns back then kings we box but there’s no complaints here - staying on the good water is key to figuring out the productive pattern. Our big Pen Yan is at
in and docked at her fishing season home. With 2 boats running we have lots of days open.👍

The weekend finished out as good as it started! Great weekend is an understatement all 5 trips limited out early-releasing more along the way. Kings, browns steelhead and lakers hit the deck.
-Kings were the most prevalent with almost 40 boated w lots more beating us up.
-Brown trout made a showing but we stayed off shore enough to mostly avoid the crazy flurries distracting our attention from kings-
We released more then we kept but certainly didn’t cry about the action OR the size! They were all decent fish w some double digit fish mixed in. We’ve shifted to kings for over a week straight and filled limits every trip w a mixed bag of salmon and trout-This is shaping up to be like 2024 when we had a full spring and summer w salmon around to target. 2 more trips today w 2 more crews boxed out- that’s a week straight now with king salmon bn over 75% of the catch - although this am we only put 3 sharks in the hoop. Brown trout were happy to keep us busy and later into the trip we started finding eager salmon. Unfortunately we had some sticking issue.
Our pm afternoon run was on fire 🔥 -action start to finish
Many hits many fights
More kings -less trout -plenty more got away
lots of openings
Big boat is going in very soon - this doubles our availability
