Sitting down yesterday watching the local news from Syracuse I saw reports that hospitals and Dr offices have begun to bring back mask requirements, a bit later the national news mentioned a serious uptick in the latest COVID strain .
Regardless me being me I got to thinking.
Roughly 14 months until the 2024 elections the political mud slinging is already in full swing, hell never really stopped but here’s what has me worried, I don’t know about you, but I have zero faith in the early voting/mail in voting programs to me it just seems like there is too much opportunity for fraud.
The convenience Of the Covid scare starting up and mandatory mail in voting personally has me worried. I really think mail in voting needs to be scrutinized if not eliminated completely.
if they’re going to cheat I think we the people should make it as hard as possible for them to cheat as we can
I think it should be a federal law that all mail in ballots be requested by the individual and that proof of identity be mandatory before Any mail in ballot can be sent out there also needs to be a record of every individual that has asked for a mail in ballot and said ballot must be cross checked before the vote is counted I also think all mail in ballots must be received and counted before the actual election day. No more of this ballot counting two or three weeks after the election day.

It is with great sadness that I have to announce that do to life changing health issues in my family I will be unable to guide for this years salmon season
God willing I will still be able to guide float trips for steelhead beginning in November weekends only
It pains me greatly to have to announce this now so close to the beginning of the salmon season for all those who are booked with me I am doing everything possible to find coverage for your scheduled dates but unfortunately I am struggling to do so being so close to the run
I will try to contact all my clients ASAP but please understand I am dealing with a very full plate
Thank you for your
Patience and understanding
Sincerely Capt Steve

Tough day today, the big nor’easter yesterday really upset our fish today as there was a big drop in water temperature all the way back down to 42°
Regardless Vinny got his first ever steelhead and he was pleased to say the least

I had the rivilege of guiding Jim today
and we hit it off right from the get go
Our first choice in spots didn’t pay off so we only stayed there for about 15 minutes the next spot that I wanted to fish was available so we drop the anchor and hit three fish literally in the first 20 minutes or less
the second stop we stayed in for about an hour nd hit 4 more to say I was happy would be an understatement the weather was nice fish cooperative our next stop we only hit one and that was roughly around 9 AM as we were sitting in that third spot something changed and I realized that we had experienced a very big and very rapid drop in the water needless to say that put the brakes on the bite for us The water was not scheduled to drop until 7 PM we only had one other hit the rest of the trip
Had they of not screwed with the water I can only Imagine what kind of numbers we would’ve had
Jim with the biggest one that he landed today

For those of you that would like to enjoy some of these incredible fish give us a call we have plenty of openings and with the current temperatures in the forecast we should have phenomenal fishing for at least the rest of April
