Josh has been training at Showtime for almost 3 years and has been a lifelong competitive runner. Prior to joining Showtime, Josh had little strength training experience and was having pain anytime he ran over 3 miles. Recently he ran the 1-mile race in 6:27 (his best time in over 20 years. He also ran the 800-meter in 2:52 prior to the mile.

Iโd say that first and foremost it made me better all around. My arms rarely become fatigued, which always used to happen especially later in a training run or race. I also now have a kick at the end of a race which is something I never had before.

Iโd say that I run about the same amount as I did before, maybe a little less and I have not seen a decline in my performance, only improvement. In general, I really have none of the aches and pains that I used to have before starting Met-Con.

My cholesterol levels declined to a healthy state for the first time in years. Iโve always struggled with this. All of my health markers have improved in general, and continue to do so. I was always intimidated by weight lifting growing up, especially as a former cross country/track runner. So, to be able to see the results I have gotten so far has given me a lot of confidence.
