Twenty-five years ago today, the world changed.
Today we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, and to honor the first responders, survivors, and the families who carry that day with them always.
I'll never forget where I was, Geology 110, at OWU. We had class. The professor didn't realize the severity of what was happening. Other students in class were crying because they had family members who worked in the twin towers.
The rest of my 9.11.01 was seated in my dorm room watching the news.
Hard to believe it's been 25 years. 😔
We will never forget.
