Rockin’ R is the New Braunfels’ premier destination for kayaking, rafting, stand-up paddle boarding and TUBING! We are the only outfitter in the City that has a location in a location in Gruene and also the only company in the local industry that offers floats on both the Comal & Guadalupe Rivers! Rockin’ R River Rides is a New Braunfels tradition that started over 40 years ago when two guys drove

down from Fort Worth with fifty tubes, two lawn chairs, a couple of pick-up trucks, and parked it all on a small patch of dirt along the banks of the Guadalupe River. Throughout the years, as competitors have come and gone, floods have threatened destruction, droughts have sometimes limited water flows, the Rockin’ R has stood tall as the bell weather of the local river outfitting industry. As we enter a new era of ownership for this Texas tradition, the promise of premier customer service remains the same, and we cannot wait to show both our loyal customers, as well as our new friends the things we will have to offer in the coming months!

☀️ Happy Monday, float fam! Just a reminder that Rockin’ R is now closed Monday through Thursday — but don’t worry, the river fun is just around the corner.

💦 We’re back open every Saturday + Sunday at 10 AM across all five of our locations, so you can plan your weekend floats knowing the river will be waiting.

👉 And heads up for Labor Day Weekend:
• Gruene location will be open Friday, Aug 29 – Monday, Sept 1
• All other locations will be open Saturday + Sunday as usual
It’s going to be the perfect long weekend of sunshine, river time, and good vibes to close out summer. 🌊🇺🇸
