You don’t always need a long explanation. Give a hitter a cue so they can problem solve (getting their body to self‑organize) and adapt to the conditions/constraints being applied.

For hitters who don’t stride, one goal is to help them feel how the front leg initiates ground force. Using a slight downward angle exaggerates the sensation of the front foot anchoring and creating that force.

Front foot plants → hitter pushes the ground → the ground pushes back. That “push‑back” is ground‑reaction force.
