Just recorded 2-parts on the Unhealthy Podcast with Uncle Marv, which drops Thrusday and Friday.
But one thing we talked about was building that solar callus.
I was just in South Carolina and Florida from the 20-25th.
Drove down to Folley Beach near Charleston, SC for an evening beach session the next day a morning beach session.
While there a surfer dude said to me:
"Dude, you have the best tan, bro." Then to his friend "We're not leaving until we get a tan like that dude..."
This was about 6 pm, so all the good new melanin making sun was gone.
Building the solar callus was one thing we talked about Uncle Marv's podcast.
And it's super important. And the sequence of the sun is super important.
The surfer dude was pale, so maybe a work all day then go surfing deal.....or sunscreen :(
The steps to take to bring out the best tan or sunburn proof skin or the improvement warrior or the beast or the simply the one who is sick and tired of being sick and tired are:
-Sunrise and as much AM sun as possible
-Proper breathing--close your mouth, focus on belly breathing
-Proper water- never again drink fluoridated water. And especially never bathe in it. Make sure you get your water intake to at least 1/2 your bodyweight, and cut back on caffeinated drinks
-Ground as much as possible (barefeet connected to grass, sand, water, sidewalk). Go barefoot as much as possible--- Native American Proverb- 'Take off your shoes, they will make you sick.'
-Strength train minimum 3 x per week once you are leptin sensitive.
-Be as active as you can all days.
-Never sit more than 3 hours a day.. Mobilize, stretch, foam roll to combat the damaging effects of sitting.
-Meditate, box breathe, put your tongue on the roof of your mouth whenever not talking or eating
-Eat more DHA.
-Eliminate or start lowering intake of uneeded prescriptions, over the counter drugs, caffeine, supplements (the sups I would never take are vitamin d, melatonin, fish oil--although I used to take all 3--USED TO is the key word.)
-Read or watch or listen to something educating. The news is not educating. I'm currently reading 'The Underground History of American Education' by John Taylor Gatto. And my bedtime book now is Atlantis FOund by Clive Cussler. My goal is 10 pages a day.
-Block fake blue light from eyes and skin
-Get as much Vitamin D on your naked eyes and skin as you can with the solar callus you currently have. Always attempt to increase your solar callus with as much sunruse, early Am sun and late PM/sunset as possible
-Set goals, go after them, smash goals, set new ones.
-Stop watching the news or associating with people who talk about the news without researching what a healthy body, mind, and spirit actually need.
-Sleep. Search for my 36 sleep better tips. Or download Improvement Warrior Podcast #7
Obviously not an exhaustive list but that can definitely start moving you in the right direction. The vast majority of these will help you collect more electrons which is basically our token for life.
Have a disease? no energy? Then you know you are losing more electrons than you are putting in. That's lifestyle. Change it.
