What a week for Brooke Barket & Untouch Du Faurieu Z as they made their big Eq debut at the Devon Horse Show! The pair had great trips in the WIHS, Dover Medal, and ASPCA Maclay among some of the best junior riders in the country. Brooke has come so far in her riding and Peter continues to rise to the occasion—it is so much fun to watch!

Endless thanks to everyone who makes this possible! Richard Cheska of Twin Lakes Farm for the opportunity to have this wonderful horse, Erika Heintschel who has helped guide and direct Brooke since the Short Stirrup days, Abby Blankenship for her insight and help ringside this week, and our barn family at Sugar Run Farm for always supporting us!

We had a chilly but successful start to our outdoor season at Brave Horse I!

Our namesake Training Wheels (“Tristan”) made his presence known with 2 over fences wins and the reserve championship in the USHJA 2’ hunters!

Regan Spurling & Champlain Heart of Gold were reserve champions in the Medium Ponies, qualifying them for this year’s USEF Pony Finals! Regan also had some great trips and top placings in the Childrens Ponies with Sir Winston.

Brooke Barket & Untouch du Faureau Z were 2nd in Friday’s Derby, won both the NCEA & THIS Medals, and were 4th in the Dover qualifying them for Harrisburg!

Brooke Barket & Gravelotte were reserve champions in the 15-17 Equitation and had great trips in the 3’3” Junior Hunters over the weekend, finishing 2nd in the Classic!

Land’s End Angelique won the pony yearling class and was awarded Best Young Pony!

Thank you to Santiago for keeping things running smoothly back at the barn, and for the support of parents, friends, and family that makes all of this possible! Congratulations to our Sugar Run Farm barnmates on a successful week as well! It takes a village!

A successful first outing for Land’s End Angelique! Winner of the pony yearling class and Best Young Pony at Brave Horse I!

Thank you to Liz and everyone at LRC Farm for keeping her well cared for and well socialized. We wrapped up our winter at WEC Ohio with some circuit awards! These girls put in the work this winter, congratulations!!

Sir Winston & Regan Spurling reserve circuit champion Children’s Ponies

Gravelotte & Brooke Barket tied for circuit champion in the 3’3” Junior Hunters, and were reserve circuit champions in the Children’s Equitation

We had a fun and successful 2 weeks at WEC in March!

Gravelotte & Brooke Barket continue their winning ways, earning a tricolor both weeks in the 3’3” Juniors as well as some top equitation placings in the NHS Medal and Children’s Eq!

Brooke & Untouch du Faureu Z were reserve champion in the 15-17 Equitation week one, and top placings in the Big Eq both weeks. This pair is officially qualified for Maclay finals—congratulations!

Regan Spurling piloted her Sir Winston to the championship in the Childrens Ponies week one, and top placings in the Children’s Pony Eq both weeks! Regan & Champlain Heart of Gold also had some of their best trips yet in the Mediums!

Emme Spurling & Hot Wheels continue to be the life of the party 🥳

Brooke piloted Kelsey Epperson’s Nintendo PS to the championship in the regular Larges and reserve in the Large Greens week two. Thank you Kelsey for the opportunity!

We also had a blast hanging with our Milestone Equestrian friends! Congratulations Sloane Rice & Struck By Whitening on their leadline blue!

WEC Winter Classics 11 & 12 results!

Regan Spurling had great trips in the Mediums on Champlain Heart of Gold, as well as the win in the WEC Medal week 2! She also piloted her Sir Winston to tricolors both weeks in the Childrens Ponies!

Hot Wheels & Emme Spurling continue their winning ways in leadline!

Gravelotte earned top ribbons both weeks, and finished with the championship in both the 15-17 Equitation and 3’3” Junior Hunters week 2 with Brooke Barket!

Brooke also piloted Untouch du Faureu Z to top finishes in the equitation both weeks, winning a Maclay, Dover, and the THIS both weeks!

Maple Ridge Biscotti joined us week 2 and had a successful move up to the 2’3” Non Pro Hunters! Thank you Christina Tenhundfeld of Maple Ridge Ponies for the chance to continue working with this talented pony!

Kelsey Epperson’s Nintendo PS had a successful debut in the Large Greens with Brooke up! Thank you Kelsey for the opportunity! .a.epperson
