We’re not done with content from the Glen yet! After I stopped by The Glen House, I made my way next door to Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center. I picked up my pass and map at the rental center and hopped on my bike to check out the trails. Wide and smooth carriage roads were my preference, though there are single and double track trails, too. Everything is well-marked and rated. And the views are simply breathtaking! I can’t wait to come back in the winter and cross-country ski. Biking xc skiing, walking, or kayak tours and clinics are all available at Great Glen, including rentals. Pack a picnic and hit some of the trails with the best views in the White Mountains!

When it’s 5 degrees too chilly to swim on the morning trip we watch the water bugs do their thing during the break. So cool. Always something to geek out on when you paddle the Androscoggin River.
