Washington Hillclimb, known as the Climb to the Clouds, is considered one of the oldest motorsports events in the United States. It was first run in 1904, seven years before the first Indy 500 and twelve years prior to the inaugural Pikes Peak Hillclimb. Three Climb to the Clouds drivers in one video!

It was an incredible weekend at Mt. Ascutney, this was the fam (recce) run in the morning where Patrick Martin took Ryan Tuerck for his first 'grip' run up the mountain with Event Chair Greg Wilcox hot on their heels!

Ryan would go on to set a new Ascutney long course record, breaking the previous record set by Dan Rutan 23 years ago!

Incredible weather, incredible driving, and a VERY fast road saw many drivers set new PBs.

The next NEHA event is in two weeks at Okemo in Ludlow, VT! With the best spectating on the calendar you should stop by and check it out as drivers prpepare for Mt. Washington in August!

Legend of the mountains Charles “Butch” King has competed at the last several Climb to the Clouds events in this NASCAR spec Chevy truck! Come to the event August 7-9 to see him run this mad machine again!
