PSA: the scale is not the full story 👏🏼 this is February-May.

A lot of people panic when they see the number go up… but what if I told you that weight gain is not always a bad thing?

If you are strength training consistently, eating enough protein, and challenging your body, you may actually gain weight while LOSING body fat. Why? Because muscle weighs more than fat by volume and takes up less space.

More muscle means:
🔥 a faster metabolism
🔥 better fat burning
🔥 more strength and energy
🔥 better aging and bone health
🔥 a tighter, leaner look

Gained pounds while lowering body fat and increasing muscle mass. THAT is body recomposition and it’s exactly why we focus so much on strength training at Squad 232.
