The truth about the fitness industry and why it's leading you astray...
Fitness professionals and influencers want to make things more complicated than they really are to elevate themselves.
I've been there, I've said and done things to try to show my expertise to earn credit.
The reality is, health and fitness does not have to be that complicated.
Here's 8 simple things to impact your health and fitness that if you stay consistent with for 30 days, you will look and feel totally different!
1) Consistent/quality sleep- prioritize night time routine and wake time. 7+ hours of sleep EVERY night and keep it consistent. I.e. Always 10p-5a or 11p-6a. Not 9p-4a one day then 12p-7a the next and so forth.
2) Eat whole foods 80+% of the time. Was it alive or did it grow on something? If not, limit that food. Vast majority of your food should come from whole foods
3) Drink 50% or more of your bodyweight in ounces of water. Bonus to sprinkle some trace minerals or quality salt in there for electrolytes
4) Prioritize relationships in your life. Be present with those you love and are connected with. Serve them, serve others.
5) Get daily sunshine. 10-15 min in A.M and 10-15 min in P.M. daily.
6) Move often. Accumulate 8-10k steps per day, spread throughout the day.
7) Resist something heavy 3-4x/week. Some variation of hard, heavy work. (3-10 reps with plenty of rest)
8) Sweat often. Daily or at least every other day you should sweat. Through workout, sauna, or just being outside. Sweat often.
