Over the last year I’ve had the privilege to serve alongside coach with the team.
Last week we won our second state championship.
This week we had 4 guys get to be a part of the inaugural north/south all star tournament and Coach Beach and I had the honor of being 2 of the coaches for the north and we came out on top again there.
Golf is a unique sport where we really get to know these kids outside of their sport.
Looking forward to continuing this path with them and gonna miss the seniors

Had the pleasure of working with this great group of kids this year as strength coach and assistant golf coach. It was great to give back to my roots where I played golf.

They wrapped up the year last night with a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!

It was hard fought in tough condition and it took all 6 to take the W!

Thankful for the opportunity Coach gave me to help out.

Thankful to these kids for trusting me to come along side and help!

Potentially time for some new shoes.

I often hear runners with plantar fasciitis or knee pain blame the shoe first.

Pro tip- it’s not the shoes.

Maybe you’ve stretched a little bit with no relief?

Maybe you’ve given it some rest but as soon as you start back, the pain comes right back?

Pain is tricky, so many different factors at play.

GRATITUDE

So often, I forget to be grateful for the small things in life and just take them for granted.

We are so blessed to be alive and living and in 2022, I am journaling 3 different things that I am grateful for every single day.

There's so much negativity around us.

So much to fill our minds with worry and anxiety.

I've found this activity to be very helpful for myself and my clients.

Every time I journal it out, I am happier and in such a great mood and space.

Try it out for a couple of weeks and see how your perspective changes!

We often compare ourselves to people who have been working for years to get to where they are today.

Stop it!

The others with the “overnight success” or immediate results have been at this longer than you have.

They have had more time to grow and build.

Take your fitness one step at a time and do what you can with what you have, right now.

People often tell Reagan McElroy and I how they wish they could do what we do or look like we do.

What they don't see is we've both been CONSISTENTLY working out and eating healthy for 15-20 years.

There are no shortcuts.

The truth about the fitness industry and why it's leading you astray...

Fitness professionals and influencers want to make things more complicated than they really are to elevate themselves.

I've been there, I've said and done things to try to show my expertise to earn credit.

The reality is, health and fitness does not have to be that complicated.

Here's 8 simple things to impact your health and fitness that if you stay consistent with for 30 days, you will look and feel totally different!

1) Consistent/quality sleep- prioritize night time routine and wake time. 7+ hours of sleep EVERY night and keep it consistent. I.e. Always 10p-5a or 11p-6a. Not 9p-4a one day then 12p-7a the next and so forth.

2) Eat whole foods 80+% of the time. Was it alive or did it grow on something? If not, limit that food. Vast majority of your food should come from whole foods

3) Drink 50% or more of your bodyweight in ounces of water. Bonus to sprinkle some trace minerals or quality salt in there for electrolytes

4) Prioritize relationships in your life. Be present with those you love and are connected with. Serve them, serve others.

5) Get daily sunshine. 10-15 min in A.M and 10-15 min in P.M. daily.

6) Move often. Accumulate 8-10k steps per day, spread throughout the day.

7) Resist something heavy 3-4x/week. Some variation of hard, heavy work. (3-10 reps with plenty of rest)

8) Sweat often. Daily or at least every other day you should sweat. Through workout, sauna, or just being outside. Sweat often.
