Our buddy Matt Wilson brought his Roadglide in for a suspected stator issue. We did some diag determined the stator wasn’t producing what it should and cracked the primary open. The chai. Tensioner along the way broke, the broken piece got chewed up and turned into a sludge, getting in EVERYTHING, backing the primary bolt off, destroying the stator bell and the old stator. Glad we caught it before it did more damage. Got it cleaned up and going back together

Just a reminder, we will be closing mid day tomorrow to head to the Ledgedale Airpark to get setup for the big Rowdy Racing event this weekend. We will be in the shop limited hours on Thursday for customers to pick up their bikes, and parts. After that we are closed until Tuesday Sept. 15th. If you don’t have anything going on Saturday come check out the race, and maybe watch David Dean get hit by a car calling the finish line! Got to do a customer supplied set of Freedom Performance pipes on a 2025 Nightster today. While these wouldn’t be my first choice in pipes, it did give me a chance to work on a rev max bike. I love these things. They’re a tight package and a challenge to work on, but the performance that you get from little changes out of these 975 and 1250cc engines is absolutely incredible. Thanks for bringing us your bike Blake, and choosing to Ride with Westside!

The big homie Jeff Rowe hit us up for some intake seals on his gorgeous CVO Roadglide. We got him squared away and back on the road with his brothers, Jeff is part of Brothers Few MC if you’re not aware who they are, and you’re part of the Auburn moto community you should get to know them.
