Yesterday, racers, volunteers, sponsors, families, and spectators filled Emerson Park and made the 48th Great Race one to remember. Every paddle stroke, bike mile, finish-line cheer, water stop, and behind-the-scenes hand mattered. We couldn’t do it without this community.

Ready to do it again? Registration for the 49th Great Race on Sunday, August 8, 2027 is open. Launch pricing—the lowest prices of the season—ends tonight, Monday, August 10, at 11:59 PM ET.

Youth teams start at $45. Solo is $100, tandem is $130, three-person teams are $140, and four-person teams are $150 ($37.50 per racer).

For the 48th time, this community lines up together on Owasco Road: kids and grandparents, first-timers and old rivals, teams of family, friends, and coworkers.

To every racer, volunteer, sponsor, and spectator who makes this day what it is — thank you.

We’re at the Auburn YMCA’s B Gym until 1:00 PM today, getting racers ready—and everyone pumped—for tomorrow’s Great Race.

Pick up your packet, make a sign for your favorite racer, grab a Great Race shirt for $10, and get your 50/50 tickets. The drawing is at 3:00 PM; you must be present to win.

Can’t make it today? Unclaimed packets will be available Sunday morning at the committee tent.

⏰ 9:10 AM — opening instructions, Changeover Zone on Owasco Road
🏃 9:30 AM — mass start
🛶 10:20 AM — all paddlers staged
🚴 Noon — bike course closes
