To ensure youโ€™re constantly moving the needle forward with your training, you have to understand โ€œhowโ€ to train with the most benefit.

Choosing workouts, loads and movements that you simply donโ€™t possess right now is not going to be the smartest way forward for your training development.

When it comes to developing skill acquisition, and earning a new load on the barbell for a workout - you must first have enough requisite to achieve what the workout is asking of you within the stimulus.

If you cannot meet that requirement, swallow the pride, regress the movement to a point where this can be achieved AND continue to work said skill under a less stressful environment outside of the Metcon.

Because if put my money on the fact that the ring muscle ups wonโ€™t look better in the 3rd round of the workout than the first. So, with this degradation of the movement, choose your skill and rep scheme accordingly / appropriately.

Thatโ€™s how youโ€™ll have the most success โœ…
