Our hearts and sincere condolences go out to Her family and daughters who were former ladies team players for Waterford City RFC, Anne Marie, Carrie Anne, Patrice, Katie and Jemma.

Rest in Peace Mrs Barrett from all at WCRFC.

You brought up a fine squad of players and you will be missed for sure by all.

Morning All,

Join us today, Saturday, 9th May at the clubhouse in Kilbarry for our End Of Season Awards Day.

Kicking off at 3pm, there’ll be a BBQ, Games, Music, Waterslide & Awards for all Age Grade squads. After that, the committee would like to invite people to join us in The Three Shippes to watch Munster v Connacht kicking off @ 7:45pm. Hope to see a good crowd there. The weather is looking decent enough for the afternoon.

There will be a bucket collection to support Rhys Morgan going to the Rugby League World Cup with Ireland. 🏉🏉

Congratulations to Glen “Taffy” Hughes on his recent election as President of the Munster Association of Referee’s.

Glen is a past President of Waterford City RFC & is a great supporter of rugby in our Club, our Province & our Country. He’s a regular at games in Kilbarry as well as away games.

His dedication shines down through two further generations with his son Ruairi being an ex player with the club & current U-16 Coach then Ruairi’s son Rhys who currently plays for our U-16 squad.

Pictured far right is Glen on presenting MAR jerseys to the refereeing team prior to Ireland v Italy in the U20 6 Nations earlier this year in Cork.

Congratulations again Glen. 👏🏼
