St. Anne's Waterford Tennis Club Proudly at the forefront of tennis in Waterford since 1955, St. Anne's-Waterford Tennis Club boasts 9 floodlit Tiger Turf courts & two mini courts.

Our modern clubhouse offers excellent facilities, a full bar & panoramic views of all courts. Objective

To provide a fun and enjoyable environment which promotes and encourages the amateur game of tennis and all other athletic or amateur games and sports. Established in 1954, St Anne's is one of the largest clubs in Ireland. Prior to 1954, two tennis clubs were operating in the John's Hill area o

f Waterford City: Waterford Lawn Tennis Club and St. Anne's Lawn Tennis Club. As the Waterford Lawn Tennis Club had only a small membership, it was decided by the committees of both clubs to amalgamate in the winter of 1954 under the new name St. Anne's Waterford Lawn Tennis Club. Fully stocked bar and function room with a capacity of 150 people. This function room is available to members to hire for parties/events throughout the year. Exterior walk-around balcony on 3 sides of the upper floor, allowing panoramic views of all courts. Warm-up room with exercise bike

Tea/coffee facilities
Modern kitchen facilities, with freshly prepared food available to players/spectators during tournaments. Nine major competitions are held throughout the year for Juniors, Seniors and Veterans (35+) of all levels. There are also a number of American Tournaments, Social Nights and Doubles leagues held intermittently. There is a monthly singles ladder for both Seniors and Juniors and a mixed ladder for Seniors. This provides members with an opportunity to play against different people each month. For new members, it is a good way to meet people in the club.

🎾 Tennis Munster is delighted to announce the launch of the Summer Cup 2026. This is a knockout competition.

If you wish to submit a team, please submit your entry to the office by Tuesday 16th June 2026, including the Team Captain's email address.

✔️ The competition will be played in accordance with the WTN rating system - by Band and not by old Munster Grade.

✔️ Each player on a team must meet WTN requirements for their band.

✔️Mixed events use doubles WTN, not mixed WTN.

✔️Directory grade restrictions still apply.

✔️ Any player may play in their band as locked on the cut-off date of 4th June 2026. For subs added at a later stage, WTN is the current WTN on the day of the fixture.

Eight of Ireland’s top men's players will battle it out in Claremont Railway LTC next Monday & Tuesday in a wildcard playoff, with one coveted place in the tournament at stake. 💪

The ATP Challenger 75 Dublin will be the biggest professional men's tennis event held in Ireland since 2008, providing a rare opportunity for an Irish player to compete against ATP-ranked professionals on home soil. 🌟 🤩

Entries Now Open – Annual Senior Tour 1000 Open Week!
We are delighted to announce that entries are now open for our Annual Senior Tour 1000 Open Week, proudly sponsored once again by Utopia Flowers and Heskap IT Support.
Join us for an exciting week of competitive tennis featuring:
Men’s Singles, Ladies’ Singles, Men’s Doubles, Ladies’ Doubles and Mixed Doubles Events
Events are open to WTN Bands 1–7, making this a competitive and inclusive tournament for players of all levels.
Entry Limits
Singles events: 32 players
Doubles and Mixed Doubles: 24 pairs
Places are limited, so enter early to secure your spot as entries close on Tuesday 16th June at 9.00am or earlier if fully subscribed.
We look forward to welcoming players for what promises to be a fantastic week of tennis, competition, trophies, and fun both on and off the court.
The kitchen and bar will be open throughout the event with food being served by Bia Lynne.
