Today we had the pleasure of running the brother spring memorial tournament in our squash courts where we welcomed plenty of current, new and former faces to the Waterford handball scene!

Action kicked off at 10am with 6 pairs taking to the court in a series of timed games with some great handball on show along with some mighty fun being had!

After 2 hours and 30 mins of handball Oisin O Mahony and Rody Morrisey left the court as champions in an excellent final vs Anto Fitz and Jim Di Fusco!

We would like to thank Kavan O Keeffe for the organisation of this tournament who worked on providing food, handballs and clean courts along with creating fixtures and gathering players to keep the tournament going!

We at Waterford handball hope to have this tournament continue on a yearly basis around this time of year for all past, present and future handballers within our club so stay tuned for similar action in 2026.
