A game that kept us all on the edge of our seats, well done everyone 🖤💛🥳🥳

🖤💛 Super Sevens Cup Winners 🖤💛

Currow NS secured the 2026 Senior Boys basketball title in the most dramatic of fashion tonight in Milltown Community Centre. 🏀

Spectators were treated to an unbelievable game of basketball with the game finishing level 22-22 at the end of normal time.

28-28 at the end of overtime. The sides still couldn’t be separated.

This lead to a “Golden basket” to secure the winner. The game ebbed and flowed but eventually Currow scored the winning basket in the most dramatic of circumstances to send children, parents and spectators into wild scenes of celebration. 🏀💪

Credit must go to Gaelscoil Aogain, Castleisland who were absolutely magnificent on the night. It was a game that really deserved no one to lose but tonight Currow were on the right side of the result!

Well done to our Senior Girls basketball team who won the Super Sevens Cup title for a 3rd year in a row against a very strong Hollymount NS. The girls won 23-18 in what was an epic battle. Well done girls and enjoy the celebrations 🏀💪🏆

🥳🏀Huge congratulations to our U14 player Laura Reddington on her selection to the Ireland U14 Academy Team for the upcoming Four Nations tournament in Cardiff this June 🇮🇪 🙌

🤩 This is an incredible achievement and a truly deserved reward for all of Laura’s hard work, dedication and commitment throughout the season. Everyone in St. Bridgets is so proud & will be cheering her on as she represents Ireland 🇮🇪👏

🤩 Massive congratulations also to Eimear McMahon who reached the final 24 of the U14 Basketball Ireland Academy which is a fantastic achievement & we are immensely proud of her 🖤💛

Massive congratulations to Castleisland Community College on a phenomenal achievement today — bringing home 3 All-Ireland Gold medals! 🥇🥇🥇

An incredible reward for all the hard work, dedication and commitment shown by everyone involved throughout the year.

A special mention and huge congratulations as well to our own St Bridget’s players who played their part in this fantastic success — we are incredibly proud to see the club represented at such a high level. 👏🖤💛

🖤AICC’s roundup: 3 wins from 4 for our u16 girls, proud of each and every one of them💛

They came up against a very strong Kilkenny side in the ‘A’ division quarter-final, finishing 44–29, but the effort, determination, and fight they showed right to the final whistle was outstanding🙌🏼

Throughout the weekend, the girls represented the club with great pride, teamwork, and quality basketball. To be ranked among the top 8 teams in the country is a fantastic achievement and something they should be extremely proud of 👏🏻🖤💛 Well done girls, and coaches Louise & Fiona.

Well done also to fellow kerry club representatives and our neighbours St Marys Basketball Club Castleisland on their performances over the weekend🤩
