⁩Swimming truly connects people across the world! 🏊🌍

It was a pleasure to meet Terry Trofimuk, former President of the Killarney Swim Club in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and a current swim referee, along with his son Charlie, a varsity swimmer at the University of Ottawa while they were travelling through Killarney last month.

Despite our clubs being separated by more than 6,500 km (4,085 miles), a shared passion for swimming knows no borders. It was wonderful to exchange club swim caps & hats & swim experiences.

5️⃣ Day 5 Irish Summer Nationals Youth & Senior Championships 5️⃣

Superb swimming by both Beibhinn and Sarah today making the B Final in the 50 Breast. Both girls PB’d in prelims with Sarah finishing 4th in the B Final and Beibhinn placing 9th. 🔥

An excellent end to a fantastic week of racing. Well done girls 👏

4️⃣ Day 4 Irish Summer Nationals Youth & Senior Championships 4️⃣

Sarah continued her speedy streak on day 4 with a Gold Time Improvement Certificate in the 400IM coming 7th in the prelims with a 13 second PB and finishing 7th in the A final with a further PB.

Divo had an excellent PB in the 50 Breast and qualified for B Final finishing in the top 20 for his age group.

Samuel had a fantastic swim and PB in the 50 Breast and came 5th in Time Improvement. He also made 1st reserve for the B Final.

Orlaith had an excellent swim in the 50 Fly, climbing 4 places from her prelim placing.

Well done to our four swimmers today, you smashed it! 🙌

Another great day for Sarah 🔥

Sarah had an excellent swim in the 200 Breast with a 5.94 second PB giving her another Gold Time Improvement Certificate. 👏 She qualified for the A final and finished 8th place overall in an exciting race. Well done Sarah.

2️⃣ Day 2 Irish Summer Nationals Youth & Senior Championships 2️⃣

Another excellent day for Sarah 🔥

Sarah qualified for the B final in the 200IM, taking 5.61 secs off her time. 👏

She won the B final, a tight race, taking 0.88 off from her heat time and placing 11th overall. 🙌

She also received a Gold Time Improvement Certificate to add to her collection 😀

Well done Sarah, we look forward to seeing what the next few days will bring.

1️⃣ Day 1 Irish Summer National Youth & Senior Championships 1️⃣

Congratulations to our 2 swimmers and finalists today, Sarah & Divo 🔥

Sarah powered through to the A Final in the 200 Fly and finished in 8th place. She received a Gold Time Improvement Certificate dropping a whopping 9.85 seconds!

Sarah also made the A Final in the 100 breast finishing in 9th place and receiving a Bronze Time Improvement Certificate.

Divo made the B Final in the 100 breast, with an excellent swim, a PB and finished in top 20.

A great start to the weekend for our swimmers 👏

It’s been a long 8 weeks of training for this crew, but they are pumped and ready for the 2026 Irish Summer National Youth & Senior Championships 🇮🇪 🏊‍♀️

Samuel, Orlaith, Sarah, Beibhinn & Divo will compete over 5 days at the Sport Ireland National Aquatic Centre in Dublin starting tomorrow. They have trained hard and we are so incredibly proud of them for getting this far. We are excited to watch them compete at top level alongside clubs from around the country and their friends from who they have been training with every day. 🏊‍♂️

Thanks to Sean and all the fantastic coaches from Kingdom who have supported them all the way. 🙌

Looking forward to a great week of racing ahead 💫

Thank you to everyone who made it possible. Collaborating with has again been an invaluable experience.

Thanks to coaches Sean, Elaine, Ger and Niall for a fantastic week of racing, learning and growing.

Hats off to all our parents and team managers for ensure everything ran smoothly in the sweltering heat ☀️

Well done to our amazing young swimmers on their achievements. 👏
